    Great Potential: on the plus side nice location, friendly helpful staff. On the downside food quality is not good and the renovation leads to inconveniences like no hot water or main light in the en-suite. The owner has a plan that should realise the potential.

    Spent Christmas with the family here and owner Richard put on an amazing day! We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and the banter.

    Experience was very middle-of-the-road. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were spacious and well heated. Availability of hot water was inconsistent, though, and the restaurant's selection of meals was, while not bad, a little underwhelming.
